EQ2iDB stands for EverQuest 2 Item Database. Basically I got tired of people asking for the stats on crafted items that I didn’t currently have on me. I found that you could copy item links from the EQ log file and paste them back into the game to create the link without having the item.

So this project started as a simple tool to store a list of links to my commonly used crafting items. As the project developed I figured why not add some additional features and actually make the program useful. So the EQ2iDB project was born.

EQ2iDB has the ability to expand its searchable database to an unlimited number of items. Each item has a linked screenshot and the ability to copy and paste actual links for the item into EQ.

The current database has over 55,000 unique items and is growing every day. Users have the ability to contribute to the database by scanning their log files for new "unknown" items and submitting these new items for processing.
